The area is particularly good for skiers who have a bit of experience. The area majorly consists of red slopes and some of the blue ones are relatively steep. If you happen to be an experienced skier, St. Anton is one of the best resorts to visit with its endless steep runs and wide trails, off-piste routes and also the world cup tracks that regularly host the FIS World Cup races.
One of St Anton's unique events is "Der weiße Rausch" which takes place on the season's last day. The event is an annual madness race where hundreds of skiers, experienced as well as novice, all start off at the same time. The aim is to overcome the race's many obstacles and reach the finish line first. Obviously, it is a humorous event with numerous crashes and plenty of excitement.
