Ski Lessons in Westendorf, Austria

Westendorf, Austria

Westendorf lies on a sunny terrace of the Brixental Valley at the foot of the Choralpe and is located far away from traffic noise. The parish consists of a clustered village and other hamlets and farmsteads in the surrounding area, as well as an industrial estate.

The pretty village with its excellent infrastructure, is surrounded by an impressive mountain scenery and is considered a link between the largest interconnected ski areas of Austria, the Wilder Kaiser Brixen Valley and the famous ski area Kitzbühel / Kirchberg.

Westendorf's size and large proportion of British clientele combined, arguably make it one of the two liveliest resorts on the SkiWelt, along side Söll. With Skimundi and our partner ski school, Skischule Westendorf, you can get lessons in English and either learn the basics or improve your level further.

There are around three dozen different après ski venues in the village with the main concentration in the centre, which is located right next to the bottom of the nursery slopes and the main return area for all the ski runs. Tyrolean theme evenings are offered weekly in the village hall. Then there are bowling nights and sleigh rides to fondue parties at restaurants in the woods.

For Snowboarders and freestylers one of the finest fun parks in the region, the "Boarders Playground" is located in the resort. The skiing and snowboarding is available in Westendorf from early winter well into the spring months nothing in the way.
