The people of Alpe d'Huez are proud of their fantastic snow statistics and 300 annual sunny days. The area around Alpe d'Huez offers 250 kilometres of slopes that are evenly distributed among blue, red and black slopes. Pic Blanc is the highest accessible point at 3,330 metres above sea level. From there you can enjoy the excellent view and the Alps' longest descent, Sarenne which is 13 kilometres long. There are also many possibilities for offpist enthusiasts, and the top can be reached either by lift or by helicopter (heli-skiing) with a mountain guide.
